negative teens

I'm not one to complain about the weather (via social media) but it is -18 degrees today.  I honestly did not know that was possible.  Shouldn't it be a thing to cancel school when the thermometer breaks the double digits on the negative side?  Sometimes it's so cold I can't breathe and when I do breathe I have to stop so that I can see where i'm going. Yeah, I wouldn't cancel class either. I mean it's only the arctic. It's no wonder I feel like a Spring Break cruise should be in my near future...
